Episode 35: MLK, Unity, and Community

Know Better Do Better Podcast

22-01-2020 • 16 mins

Very different type of podcast for this episode as Mo was in the streets and building bonds within the community known as West Side Wilmington, Delaware. Thanks to the West Side Grows Together Organization (www.westsidegrows.org), Know Better Do Better was privileged enough to be apart of the 8th Annual MLK March and Celebration located at the West End Neighborhood House in Wilmington. There, Mo was on site for all the festivities and entertainment provided throughout the afternoon. Comments and feelings about the day's events by volunteers and participants are captured. Interviews with Senator Elizabeth Lockman as well as Sarah Lester and CJ Bland of West Side Grows are given to share what a day such as MLK Day means to the community and the future.
