This week on ISA GAME, we are excited to sit down with author, entrepreneur, venture capitalist, and podcaster Patrick McGinnis. Patrick is known for coining the word “FOMO” in 2004 (as well as his podcast FOMO Sapiens) and writing bestselling books like The 10% Entrepreneur.

After leaving his small town in Maine, Patrick attended Georgetown University. While in school, he studied abroad in Latin America, falling in love with the culture, which later led him to invest in Latin American companies that maximize human potential. Patrick is no stranger to traveling. As of the publishing date, he has been to 110 countries.

Listen to what may be the broadest array of topics yet. Patrick and ISA discuss the metaverse and its impending effect on society, the impact of FOMO on productivity, cancel culture, the importance of conscious and self-conscious alignment, Patrick’s first fashion show (Marchesa), and Issy’s very short-lived career in nightlife. ISA also coins her term “NOWstalgia”!
