Join us in interviewing the incredible Sophie who was diagnosed with Lyme Disease. Sophie explains the challenging 9 year diagnosis period which resulted in a series of events which she will never forget.

Sophie was previously an Olympic youth swimmer and was training for the London 2012 Olympics. She had a dramatic change to her life following on from her diagnosis, having to stop competing and focusing on her physical and psychological health.

Sophie has continued to support others with their illnesses, by providing a platform on social media in discussing illness openly and admirably, writes an inspiring blog, has her own podcast “Chronic but iconic” and has written three books.

Sophie’s selfless acts encompass her day to day life and we absolutely loved interviewing her.
