In this week's episode, we're going to be talking with my dear friend and soul sister, Rev. Nicole Hanley. Rev. Nicole originally hails from Syracuse, New York. She attended Cornell University where she graduated with a B.A. in History in 2001 with a focus on the intersections between modern European history and post-modern religious thought. For the past 20 years, she made her home in the Bronx working in her first career as a marketing professional in academic publishing. After discerning a call to the priesthood, Rev. Nicole attended the Episcopal Divinity School at Union Theological Seminary in New York City where she concentrated in Anglican Studies. She graduated with her M.Div. in May 2022 where she was granted two awards for future work in parish ministry. Rev. Nicole was ordained to the diaconate in March 2022 and was ordained to the priesthood in September 2022 in the Diocese of New York. Rev. Nicole is grateful to be serving the communities of St. Andrew's and St. Francis of Assisi in Walden and Montgomery, NY.
