Guru Ji especially tells us in many different ways who we are. A common misconception about Gurbani is that it is speaking only about the supreme being however if we see this from the non-dual perspective then that supreme being and you are one in the same so Guru Ji is not only speaking about the supreme being but your exalted self as well. Guru Ji is speaking about your supreme self and your ability to recognize it while you live now.
