Soccer Mommy is the project of Sophie Allison, the Nashville indie rock artist who has been creating unapologetically candid music, from her bedroom-to-bandcamp beginnings, to touring around the world with artists including The War on Drugs, Phoebe Bridgers and Mitski. Her recently released album Evergreen is a deep dive into processing grief, through organic, raw production reminiscent of her sonic roots. In this episode Sophie talks to Roxy about the songs that have inspired her sound and her musical journey.
