Culinary creative Tamika R. Francis is the founder of Food & Folklore, which pays homage to global food traditions through pop-up dining events, culinary classes, and storytelling. In 2019 she launched a sold out 7-part diaspora pop up dining series, in collaboration with Boston based chefs sponsored by Toast. She’s worked in agro-tourism, farming and culinary event producer locally and internationally and as a culinary instructor at the Boston Public Market, The Haley House, Curio Spice. She was most recently featured on an episode of Moveable Feast by Relish, Eater Boston, upcoming Edible Boston and is a fierce advocate for supporting emerging culinary creatives and diverse food-ways in the industry. She’s currently building Dutchpot.app, a space for culinary creatives to build community & collaborate.
