Our Main Character Podcast

When eleven year-old Maya receives an invitation for a summer internship with the most prestigious theatre in Manhattan, she’s overwhelmed with joy.

Venturing across the Atlantic from her native London to New York, she finds herself under the tutelage of the eccentric Belle Shines, acting coach for the Lyceum.

Maya finds herself part of a much larger production that spans beyond the stage, proving life is sometimes stranger than fiction.
