All those bumps in the political road for UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson, including PartyGate have taken him to a dead end... at least for him Prime Ministership.
Overnight the PM announced that he would be resigning following a barage of resignations within his own Conservative Party.
It was exactly a month and one day ago that I put out a podcast episode (CM0813) on the vote of no confidence that Johnson eventually won. A month later he'd be standing outside Downing Street announcing that he was handing in the keys to No. 10.
News story on Johnson's resignation from BBC News... https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-politics-62088774 and as for possible contenders for the UK's to job... https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-politics-60037657
Here's some of the resources used in that episode that can serve as a backgrounder as to how Boris Johnson got to this point.
