Episode 5: Elisa Chiang- Money Mindset training for Women in Medicine.  As doctors, we get no training on money management, setting healthy financial goals, portfolio management, or even having good negotiation skills.   We might experience divorce, financial hardship with extended family, practice failures, or other money mindset challenges, so it's best to have continued check-ins on our finances and ensure we have a good backup plan.  As women in medicine, we face gender inequality in our pay and could benefit from better negotiation in that department.  We also need to be sure we avoid the arrival fallacy of always waiting for that perfect pay structure to arrive.     So in this episode, we discuss:   the importance of, and what is, a healthy money mindset  setting up financial check-ins  how to become financially literate  what strategies to avoid in financial planning  gender pay inequality in medicine  the importance of good negotiation skills
