Our Editor's Take

The What If World - Stories For Kids podcast draws on the magic of childhood imagination. Every episode asks a “what if” question. The answer to these questions forms delightful stories. Best of all, each “what if” does not come from an adult. Kids send in their queries. This show offers children's tales that entertain and educate.

Host Mr. Eric greets podcast listeners with an amazing bard voice. It is sometimes spooky, kooky, or mysterious. “I'm casting a spell on you,” he sometimes says. Some parents may have run out of answers to their kids' endless questions. Not so with Mr. Eric. “Robots can become dragons,” he responds to child Teddy's inquiry. What follows is a fifteen-minute story told by a robot who thinks he's the “coolest.” In a series of distinct robot voices and a raspy dragon drawl, What If World tells what happens when robots and dragons find commonality.

Characters Abacus P. Grumbler, Randall Radbot, and Whendiana Joan join Mr. Eric to bring kids' questions to life. Listeners travel through fantastical worlds in these stories. The podcast intrigues young minds as stories take unexpected turns. They might travel through outer space or meet Fred the Dog on his adventures. Can he, Sprite Alright, and Fair Elise help Shoebert the Tree? Kids will have to listen to find out whether they succeed. They'll hear about people sneezing out pickles and bananas ruling the world. One hilarious episode reveals what it would be like if The Beatles were, in fact, beetles.

Listeners won't want to miss stories about cat hairballs becoming monstrous lions. The podcast creates wholesome entertainment for kids and fuels their imaginations. Why not let a kid keep living in a magical world? What If World - Stories For Kids is great for bedtime stories or any time of the day. Mr. Eric loves when kids send in their questions and is ready to create newer and funnier stories every week.
