Nick Bhasin from America, Author and Writer

The Employability Podcast

16-05-2023 • 44 mins

Join your host, Gradability CEO David Phua, as he talks to Nick Bhasin.
Nick is an American writer, author and cultural commentator now based
in Sydney. He writes about culture and parenting and his first book “I
Look Forward to Hearing from You” is getting published this June.
Despite his experience, it took Nick a year after arriving in Australia to
find a full time role in this chosen profession. Courage and persistence
were some of the key characteristics that were crucial in finding success.
Nick also observed interesting differences between his experience in
New York and LA and the Australian workplace culture – from email
etiquette to the importance of socialising with colleagues. Tune in to hear
the full story and why he believes “there’s more than one way to be
happy in the world”.
